The Computer Science Department offers courses leading to the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with concentrations in Software Engineering and Information Systems. The primary purpose of the program is to prepare students for careers in the computer industry and for graduate study. Students are encouraged to do cooperative work with local companies for up to one year receiving course credit, job experience, and (normally) compensation in the process.

The department also offers a minor in Information Technology as well as in Computer Science and Information Systems. Through the department of Graduate and Continuing Education we also offer 4 certificate programs.

Current Computer Science students wishing to participate in a mentorship program with professionals in industry should contact Career Services to participate in the event scheduled for December 2 from 1-4pm.
